Platelet-rich plasma (PRP)

Platelet-rich plasma is an autologous product, that is, it is obtained from the patient.

The process followed is similar to that of a habitual analytical test. A small amount of blood is taken from the patient and placed in a device (centrifuge) that separates the different blood components (red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets). After this process, the platelets become isolated, which contain growth factors and are able to attract other cells, stimulating the fibroblasts and consequentially forming collagen and elastin.

When injected in the skin (face or neck) to treat photoageing or chronoageing, we improve elasticity, reduce flaccidity, increase luminosity and attenuate wrinkles.

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP)

If injected in the scalp to treat alopecia, it promotes new hair growth and increases the thickness of existing hair. As a result, we will perceive further hair density.

The treatment consists of an average of three to four sessions a year, each separated by four or six weeks.

In biostimulation as an anti-ageing treatment, the results are visible 20 to 30 days after the session. However, an improvement can be seen from the first few days, especially in terms of luminosity.

In androgenetic alopecia an improvement can be seen usually following the second session.

Price: €200 per session (3-session voucher for €540).
